About BrakoVerse Media
BrakoVerse Media is a 3D animation, VFX and creative studio founded by Kwame-Michael Brako, a Hollywood VFX veteran with 20+ blockbuster film credits. No other studio in Ghana carries this pedigree. Every BrakoVerse project carries it instead.

Kwame-Michael Brako built his career inside the world's most demanding VFX pipelines, with 20+ blockbuster film credits including The Avengers, Iron Man, Godzilla and Guardians of the Galaxy. Years of dailies, supervisors and impossible deadlines forged one thing above all: an eye for what world-class actually means.
Ghana · the leap of faith
At the height of that career came the harder, braver choice: bring the craft home. Brako returned to Ghana with a conviction that world-class animation and VFX can be produced on African soil, by African artists, telling African stories that the global audience has never seen.

BrakoVerse Media is that conviction made operational: a multidisciplinary creative studio and original IP worldbuilder. In 2024 the studio won the Essence Award for Best Animation, and its flagship universe, The Lost Comb of Mawu, is now in active development.
