Osei Tutu reimagines the founder of the Asante Empire through the Dark Mythst lens: history rendered as legend. The portrait honours the king who unified the Asante state under the Golden Stool, dressing historical research in cinematic drama: war regalia modelled in detail, gold catching firelight, and a gaze built to hold the viewer's.
